The grassy leaf of the plant is extremely fragrant. It is used in cosmetic industry, particularly soaps due to it's tenacity. Palmarosa is in the family of lemongrass and it is also known as Indian Rose Geranium. This oil is inexpensive comparing to the Rose essential oil and is used as a substitute or diluted with the Rose oil to make more affordable natural blend.
