Description: Palm Oil is derived from the fruit of the palm tree. It is soft, semi-solid at room temperature and is rich in palmitic acid, Vitamin E, Vitamine K and Magnesium. It contains natural anti-oxidants and works well in cold-process soap making. This Palm Oil is organic and fair trade.
Color: Clear when liquid, white to slightly pale yellow when solid.
Aromatic Description: Palm Carrier Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils. It is semi-solid and requires heating (melting) before combining in the soap production;
Common Uses : Palm Carrier Oil, used by cold process soap manufacturers. The benefit is that Palm carrier oil make soap creamy and soft, promotes lather and luxury feel. Can be used up to 25% in the soap cold process formula.
Absorption: Palm Carrier Oil will leave an oily feeling on your skin if applied neat.
Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
