INCI: Citrus Crandis (Grapefruit) seed extract and Glycerin.
Derived from seeds and membranes from grapefruit. It is used in body creams, lotions, serums and other DIY cosmetics as an antioxidant. It is a very popular natural preservative. Although the experience with the Grape seed extract, as a preservative, in a wide variety skin formulations is very good, it is recommended to consider additional full spectrum, antimicrobial, ECO preservative in any water based products.
Use: 0.5%-1% of the finished product. Soluble in water.
